Temptations are a part of our everyday life. C.S. Lewis wrote in Mere Christianity "because He [Jesus] was the only man who never yielded to temptation, is also the only man who knows to the full what temptation means-the only complete realist." Jesus' victory over the temptations He faced give us the victory over the temptations we face when we place our trust in Him and allow the Holy Spirit to work in us.
